It’s fall and as the season changes and temperatures fall, new colors and fabrics will set the mood for shorter days and colder nights. With cool weather moving in, we have a tendency to focus more on style, and the colors for women’s 2007 fall fashions are cool rich, refined and sophisticated.
Some of the colors seen on the New York run ways are rich teal (also called peacock or Moroccan blue); this pretty blue-green color mixes beautifully with earthy colors and flatters most complexions. Hues such as Atmosphere (gray) and glazed ginger compliment ruby wine jackets and coats.Rich browns are a season's must-have from deep chocolate pinstripe pants to glazed ginger or buttery rattan feminine, sexy blouses.
Black is back making a comeback, but not in the traditional way. Textured fabrics such as tweeds and intricate patterns create a new theme for black. Worn with navy, is especially chic this season. The stable of any wardrobe, black can be worn with most colors and is especially elegant when pared with American beauty (red) or gloxinia (purple).
Along with exhibits of brilliant colors, the new fall and winter season brings back some popular classic fabrics. You'll be seeing mohair, suede, leather, fleece, velvet, and the basic cotton stretch.
